The Colts & Green Valley Wrestling Clubs are committed to the development of young people in our community through the sport of wrestling. Our objective is to promote the following values: confidence, determination, commitment, integrity and loyalty.
We strive to do this in an environment which is positive in nature, offers family participation, and places a priority on maintaining our values. By providing these opportunities to our members, we feel we are helping to prepare them to be successful in life.
The Colts and Green Valley Wrestling Clubs are USA Wrestling sanctioned, non-profit organizations whose purpose is to provide and promote wrestling activities for boys and girls, primarily residing in or attending schools within the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District and surrounding communities. Although we are a feeder program for Rodriguez High School, ALL children are welcome.
The Colts Wrestling Club is focused on kids from 2nd through 6th grade. Our primary goal with the Colts WC is to introduce the sport of wrestling to new and/or beginning children.
The Green Valley Wrestling Club is for Middle School aged kids (6th, 7th, & 8th grades). Our goal for this age group is to prepare the kids to eventually transition to High School Wrestling.
Our Clubs promote excellence in wrestling and positively influence the lives of kids in the local communities, by developing a commitment to wrestling through a fun and affordable team-oriented experience at practices and competitions, emphasizing sportsmanship, teamwork, skill building, physical conditioning, goal setting, a competitive spirit, hard work and a winning attitude. Our goal is to help guide our athletes to become the best and prepare them to face all of life’s challenges.
Our motto, Champions in Life… and on the Mat, summarizes the mission of The Colts & Green Valley Wrestling Clubs.
